Maketu knows “kaimoana”. For over seven centuries the people of Maketu have enjoyed the abundance of the sea. This festival celebrates seafood in traditional and contemporary styles.

And for the seafood-challenged, there will be an ample selection of "land food" available.

Coming back for his 4th appearance at the Kaimoana Festival is chef Peter Blakeway whose name is synonymous with culinary excellence.
